What does 43º weather ask for here in Washington? Well, a sweatshirt, long sleeves, jeans, boots, a scarf, beanie, and knit gloves for some type of warmth.
I easily get cold in my ears and neck area so I always need to be bundled in that area. In the 50’s, I just use a beanie and don’t really care for a scarf because it’s a lot more warm out. It’s windy and getting cooler here in Pullman. The overcast makes things a lot cooler too. BUT! Because we have “Hawaiian Sun”, standing in the sun makes it feel like 60º or something. I say Hawaiian sun because during Pullman summer, it easily reaches 90º here.
ANYWAYS! This is the outfit of the day and now I’m just chillin’ with my fan on (roommate closed the window cos it’s cold out and the heater is on so it gets hot int he room) and silk PJ pants.
So today definitely called for layers and bundling up because of the cold and rainy week we’re having here in Pullman.
I can’t wait to experience months of snow though! Ahh!
YOOTD. So I got ready a lot earlier than usual (usual meaning 30 minutes before class, lol) and decided that I wanted to “dress up” a bit. Not too much since it was still a lil chilly, but dressed up enough for the warmer morning. I just pulled on some leggings, topped off with nothing but a sweatshirt (Go Cougs!) and finished with my flat boots. It was a nice balance between warm and cool. I stayed warm with the sweatshirt, and cool with cotton leggings that allowed my legs to breathe.
ANYWAYS! I usually go to class in sweats and a jacket…soooo hahahaha. Yeah, just thought I’d share what type of shit I would and cold wear to class when it’s high 50ºs to low 60ºs.
So today’s outfit consisted of gray skinnies, a black tee, and a striped cardigan. Today was pretty chilly once again and it’s currently 59º here. My toes are cold and I’m freezing. Lol, it was NOT fun to walk from class back to my dorm or to another class. I still need to get used to this type of weather.
Today was NOT okay for leggings. I thought this morning would be in the 60’s…I was wrong. High 40’s- low 50’s. Not the best idea.
Topped off my leggings with a sweater that covers at least my uki. I used my thicker pair of shoes that complimented both the black and gray I was wearing with the hints of purple on it. I ended up pulling back my hair sometime this morning and decided to keep it that way because my hair is quite oily since I didn’t wash it yesterday (don’t wanna wash out the color). Well, it is currently 62º so I shouldn’t freeze all that bad when I go to my Math class in a few.
Nothing but a sweatshirt and boxers. Well and underwear of course. Anyways, today’s a lazy day since I only had one class. Thank God! So, today was A LOT cooler than yesterday. Like 68º type of cooler. And it’s already 3:18pm. I love Pullman weather though. Reminds me of home…
Touched up my roots and did some RED peek-a-boos. I didn’t do blue this time just because it’ll turn green as it fades -___- Maybe next time. Uh, it’s not red enough though because I was also doing my roots at the same time so I was already getting lazy. But uh, I’ll add more tomorrow.
As for the outfit of the day, I basically wore the shirt you see and boxers. Nothing much but I had a very productive day today.
